QLNB was happy to bring a reading corner at the H.O.P.E. Centre Wellness Fair this weekend.
The Centre at 4347 Loch Lomond Road offers a multi-purpose facility housing a licensed pre-school, wellness centre, community police office, and City of Saint John Leisure Services staff; as well as a large meeting room that serves parish and community activities.
This weekend provided for a meet and greet for residents and H.O.P.E. Centre staff and partners, along with a variety of displays and activities complemented by refreshments and entertainment.
The name "H.O.P.E." stands for health, opportunity, pastoral and education. St. Joseph's works to deepen the sacramental life of the parish through social service and ministry. Sponsorship support for the event came from the Saint John Airport.
